Tuscany & Florence

For a more cultural experience head to Tuscany – in search of fine art, beautiful countryside, gourmet food and exquisite wine.

Florence’s museums, palaces and churches house some of the most artistic treasures in the world.

The library of San Lorenzo is a magnificent exhibition of Michelangelo’s architectural genius.

Wander some of the oldest streets in the city until you reach the Arno River and cross the famous Ponte Vecchio and experience the newest area of Florence. Perhaps spend a day at the Boboli Gardens or climb the hill to the church of San Miniato al Monte to experience and enchanting view of Florence.

Pisa is the local airport and provides easy access to the region.  Large conferences can be held in the Congress Centre.  A nice area to stay in is Versilia or Lucca.

Venice

Venice - glamorous, sophisticated, emotive, architecturally interesting, historical and a cultural melting pot…. It is a place that everyone must visit once in their lives as the world of the motor car is left behind….

The entertainment is endless, from sipping a cappuccino in St Marks Square, a gondola trip through the hectic canals, a masked Ball or perhaps a Venetian mask workshop – combine all this with endless fine wines and Italian cuisine – you will never want to leave, but when you do ensure you take some Morano glass with you...

We recommend a stay at the traditional Cipriani, a luxury hotel set on an island in an atmosphere of calm and tranquillity.

Orient Express overnight on the Venice Simplon Orient Express to Budapest – a chance to travel back in time and experience pure indulgent luxury.

Guests each travel in their own linking daytime compartment, dine in extravagance in the dining carriage and whilst enjoying fine wines and delicious food, the guest carriage will be changed from daytime to sleeping compartment - breakfast will be served in bed.

Sardinia

Forte Village Resort, the World’s Leading Resort for the past 12 years is conveniently located 40 km from the international airport of Cagliari. This huge resort offers 18 modular meeting rooms of various sizes – making it perfect for large or small intimate groups. Convento San Giuseppe a XIV century Sardinian cultural heritage venue can create the perfect setting outdoors for a welcome cocktail or enchanting dinner, located 15km from the airport.

For a fun excursion, take to sea in a RIB to discover the wonderful south, admiring the pretty coves, white sandy beaches of Cala Cipolla, Capo Spartivento with its Lighthouse standing on a rocky cliff overlooking the sea with time for a swim, before arriving in Tuerredda and returning to the hotel by jeep to add even more variety. Tuerredda is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia for it’s fine light coloured sand and transparent colour of the sea that resembles the Caribbean.

A trip to the Feudi della Medusa, the new wine farm which offers 3 distinct types: ‘indigenous wines, antique rare vines and the wines of mirth’....- set in an area of 50 hectares and pink granite hills, the architecture has a Mediterranean feel to it with a modern interpretation of the Amphitheatre of the ancient town of Nora.  To end the trip guests should not fail to enjoy bio marine therapies at the Sighientu Thalasso Centre renowned for its amazing treatments.
